"Ah, the creativity and artistic expression that shine through this collection of pixels gives me an urge to show the world how able I am to handle myself in a piece of pirated software too" Super! You are already at step 1, inspiration. Usually after you've seen something you fancy, you want to create something equally extravagant yourself (needless to say, but i'll mention it anyway; You rarely live up to the standard of what inspired you. Alternatively, you make a carbon copy of it). Since you already passed this step, let's not menton it anymore and move on. Step 2. Get in the mood Critical part of screen making. If you are not in the mood, you will never achieve something you are satisfied with. You need to feel like a true graphics designer! Fire up some artistic and slightly pretentious music with bizarre lyrics. I recommend Wire as they are great and fit perfectly to the description, Here's a Wire Spotify playlist. Remember that you need premium though, can't let the capitalist pigs get you with them ads. Continue with thinking about excessively thin fonts, text instead of numbers, designer clothes, danish car concepts that will never see the light of day, etc. Step 3. Taking the shot Unless you skipped the previous steps (You lazy bum!), this step is quite trivial. Just find some goofy angle that doesn't show how flat the TM trees are. Step 4. Editing Quite the same process as step 3. If you, contrary to my advice, did get a flat tree in your shot, try adding loads of blur to that part. "It adds depth in a whole new way" (Quote by an anonymous, self proclaimed "Graphics God". We can call him "Yille") Disclaimer: Any part of this blog entry and the information in it may not be 100% accurate. Any similarities with real MX events and/or persons is purely coincidental. |
