I haven't used the MT since quite a while. I just recognized that the triggers in the MT have only 1/3 size compared to the whole blocks.

Is this normal or just another bug that is going to be fixed?
and more important:
What happens to older tracks? Is the old trigger (= 3 new triggers) still valid and covering the same space than before?

it's normal; old triggers will stay same (well, changed to 3x3).
