HTTP error 500

I downloaded a couple of skins and mods - when I try to unlock them by paying 20 planets or whatever - I get a 'HTTP error 500..

A quick search led me to two posts. It sounds to me like the server where the skins are hosted is badly configured causing this error to happen. Or else it's a miscommunication with Nadeo's servers.

If it's from a ManiaLink, contact the author of the ManiaLink and tell him the error you got and on which skins.

Well packs are still validated with Nadeo's servers, I think. So that's apparently where the Error 500 is coming from.

Which car is it? I'd like to try and see if I get the same error.

Hello folks,

when I want to load and start a map directly from Exchange, suddenly this error appears:
ManiaLink not found: http error 500 (see screenshot). Then ManiaPlanet can no longer be used and must be shut down with ALT+F4.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Yes, I've had the same problem for a number of months. If I download the .gbx file then I can run it from that, but not the quick direct play link. Have tried on another PC running Windows 10 (my PC still running Windows 8.1), but even with a fresh install I get the same problem.

Yeah, it's known that Install & Play has been broken for a long time now.

No ETA on a fix.
