Now it sure has been a long time since I have played maps in this game. I have been tied up with a lot of things in real life to be able to spend time here.
So one fine Monday night, which happens to be today i just casually get online to play some maps. Click the local play, single map menu and well some days you just want that mild torture and challenge. So, the best bet is to click on 'Platform' maps and my favorite author in that category happens to be pjw and lo and behold I see his latest map I had downloaded but not played.
And well off we go and wow what a thrilling ride it turned out to be. I kept on playing it for over an hour and with each and every run it just got more addictive. And then I heard of this thing called blogs. So put 2 & 2 together and the map is featured in the first blog entry by me. Now I sure suck big time in writing blogs. No no I haven't had any past experience in writing a blog. On the contrary this is my 1st ever blog entry anywhere in the online world.
Now the map:-
Well for once the name says it all. Fastish. And boi-o-boi was it fast
It starts off with a red booster right drift turn. So if you were half asleep when you loaded this map, then this ought to wake you up. And if still you are a bit drowsy then hold on to yer pants for the next booster adorned drift left turn to a loop combo and now the fun has started. And you should be wide awake, or you should be hanging on some wall with a crashed beauty of a beautiful car that you were driving. Or if you are the 'eyebo' & 'Skuny' sorts then you either must be wondering who to moderate and put a stick up their ass while hanging upside down on that wall.
Ok time to wake up, get started again and get that thrill. The map is meticulously made and well thought out. The speed never lets go, so much so that when you finish, if you finish you hair is still standing on your head, arms, legs and anywhere else that you have it and your underwear is stuck to the spoiler. And you want more of it. It is just brilliant how well this map has been made. I kinda feel for the fact that not many people have tried it. But those that have, had only great things to say about this map. And I too am in that queue.
So if you are the types who love a challenge, a thrill, want to see you blood pump so fast that it is hard to tell if it is your veins or a local gas pipe, then this map is for you. No it really is not evil, which is synonymous with pjw, it is mild but the speed is incredible, the way the map flows, the superb drifts the lovely wide zones and the close corner cutting and then add a pinch of a loop and a couple of drop/jump combos and you have an adrenaline rushing ride. I would sure say try it before you get too old for your eyes start complaining after the 1st 2 turns
