Located in Nuremberg, on the former Nazi party rally grounds, Norisring is the iconic german street circuit. Since May 18th, 1947 motorracing events are held around the remaining 360 metres long grand stand. It had diffrent configurations including the figure-8 layout. This is the current version after the fatality of Pedro Rodriguez in 1971.
Due to the proximity of the lake "Dutzendteich" and due to it's location, the track and the event is often compared to the Monaco Grand Prix
