The idea behind this track is a simple one: Find all 8 checkpoints, and then make your way back to the start/finish. The track itself? Not so simple...use of blockmixing gives the track a bit of a Swiss cheese feel, and there are multiple ways to get anyplace. It's not difficult to finish (once you find all the CPs), but finishing
quickly...well...good luck!
This track probably wouldn't exist, if it weren't for
dreadmullet.
It was his comment on
my last map ("Maybe next time try a 3x3 multi-route map.
") that started me thinking about the possibilities of a highly-compressed choose-your-path track. (And it was his beta-testing that made the final result that much better, and the final AT much faster, since he kicked my AT's ass while testing.
) Thanks bud!
I also owe a nod to _arc, the creator of
TM2Unlimiter; this is my first venture into blockmixing, and I couldn't imagine it being any easier than this tool makes it. Being able to simply run an alternate .exe and have it do everything for you is fantastic, and I encourage others to try this great tool!
