Hello MX-Community,

back then in tmx, the classic map list was a hunting paradise. Well crafted and popular maps, combined with a lot of competition inside the replay table. If you participated by submitting a (good) replay, you were able to get a lot of leaderboard points, too.

MX had this list for years, but only a few maps have found their way into the table. Classics are added manually by the mod team. Doesn't mean your maps weren't satisfying enough, we just let ourselves go a bit.

We want to keep the classics alive, so we have worked together with the Trackmania community to add a few maps from the last years to be added to the classics. Those are maps that we think do qualify for the list. It's not a lot for now, but they'll keep coming. Here is what's happening after this big batch of new classic maps:

• About 1-2 new additions to the classic map list each month (depends on activity).
  
• Only maps with a lot of replay submissions (=high LB value) are being considered.
  
• You can suggest and discuss new additions here in this thread.
  
• Usually, maps will be added after a period of more than one month after their release.
  

If you're suggesting maps, keep in mind that they need to fulfil the following requirements:

• Not a LOL or PF/PB/Px map.
  
• Map should have a high amount of replays submitted on MX as offline records.
  
• In your eyes, a well crafted map with lots of fun to hunt.
  
• Map is older than one month.
  
• The map is popular amongst players - not only does it have replays submitted, but also a healthy amount of awards.
