I just mean Valley feels a lot less awkward most of the time. It feels like it's tuned towards people who prefer fair/competitive driving more.

Yeah, that´s what I´m doing. For the past 10 days I´ve been driving the Nadeo campaign just to learn driving. I´m getting better, and the local competition (still on city level) is motivating - just like in former TM-Games. I´m already using riolu´s perfect runs ingame to learn how to drive the lines. But the dirt sections of the tracks still feel pretty weird to me. :p
