But, yes my last suggestion is .. for track submissions ...

1) once you link your tm2 account name (track author) you get credited with 3 uploads
2) once a week everyone that has linked their tm2 account, will be credited with 2 uploads
3) you can purchase 5 upload credits at 1 euro at any time , which will go towards keeping up of this site.
4) max of upload slots capped at 15.

haha sorry i try to explain a difffrent way and i agree it was a little blur in that sentence
one random track picks at 12 a clock every day and will be showcased 24 hour for a small competition where you can win karma

price pool for the random track competition is
1st place get 4 karma
2-9 place get 1 karma

*so you got 1 karma just for participate if you got top 10 (or all that submit a replay get 0.5 karma + 1 more if they get top 10 )

another suggestion about playpal
4 in karma was way to much to get in pp imo / 2 in karma is a better max level

Another award discussion - even before TM2 is released
I don´t want to comment on what has been said before because it is impossible to bring together the different opinions - at least it has been impossible in the past.
So I took a look at your maps Windows31 to get an idea if your complaints are justified.
To say it brief and short: Your first map is undrivable - your latest map has got good even some great parts.
I gave you comments what I liked and disliked in the comments of every map. Some of the points I critisized are a matter of taste - some of them are "basics" you have to take into account for building a good map like "no big letters in the middle of the screen".
I am sorry that none of the maps made me feel like awarding it but I am quite sure that if you continue the development you had in your first maps you will get what you want

Good idea.. if you want to kill the site.
Nobody will pay for uploading tracks. Uploading and sharing tracks is what makes this site.
If you feel like most tracks aren't worth beeing uploaded then you just gotta find authors you like, download their tracks and leave the others in the dust.
It's obvious that people like what they upload, otherwise they would not do it.
So you can't force them to work harder on their track and make them more likeful for you.
There is no claim for proven quality. Proven by whom anyway..

Absolutely not what I meant !! I understand sharing and firmly believe in that, but if some just take advantage, well then they have to compromise somehow...

If you had read what I posted previously you would understand.. I never said anyone HAVE to pay !! it's an option, if they like it.. pretty DAMN the same as putting your tracks on TMX united most recent supporters !! Isn't it ?

So if you don't need upload credits, what is the point in having them?
I don't see any reason to limit the amount of tracks uploaded here.

Track limit ... simple really , going back to my previous posts..

Just to increase the quality of tracks...

I read so many articles over the last 4 years of racing, and mostly about players that make good tracks and theirs never get tested or show cased. Well probably because they don't have friends in TM, but still don't exclude them from fame.

Face it, anyone can make 4 to 5 tracks a day and post them here, which evidently just makes it harder for the other dedicated track builders to be even seen .. surely this site is here for everyone to share their tracks and follow a certain understanding ...

BTW ... I'm only upset about ppl that posts 10 to 20 tracks a day... the rest are OK... Hey that rhymes

Something like a tracks-uploaded-per-day limit (one or two) would help, because people who upload several tracks at a time are almost never putting a lot of effort in. That is something I wouldn't mind
Having to pay planets to upload any tracks at all doesn't make sense, though.

Here comes the same old question.. what is quality and why would everybody have to upload quality tracks only. And who are the ones to judge about quality?
I know people who are sick of quality tracks and prefer simple, bumpy and imperfect tracks a lot more than overly styled tracks you'd consider quality tracks.
It's pretty overbearing to say people should not have the right to upload any track they want.
MX is about sharing tracks, not just about the best of the week. It is a nice feature to help you find tracks. That's what it was designed for and not for anyone's ego in the first place.
