Engine eats music
I usually have engie sound and music at maximum volume. But for most songs people put on tracks (including mine), I have to reduce the engine sound to hear the song (otherwise it's just some whistling in the backround). Some songs seem to be loud enough. There could be various reasons:
- my speakers (insde the screen) simply suck
- my soundcard wants to emulate a 3D sound (happened sometimes in other games)
- most people make mistakes when converting files
- we are simply not supposed to put both volumes on max.
Can anyone tell me what might be the reason?

In general it would be interesting (and maybe enlightening) to hear, what settings other people use... :o

Thanks for your replys

Could simply just be low volume quality of the song files themselves. Otherwise i've no idea :$

Most presumably it's just another maniaplanet bug which nadeo has to fix :(

Can you link me to a track where this happens ?

It is on almost every track.
Maybe I make the question simpler: Is the music loud enough, when you have music and engine-sound (etc.) set to maximum volume?

It seems that a reduced engine sound is mandatory.
Good to know, that it's not my soundcard.

Would be still interesting to hear about the settings from more people...
