Hi! It is the time again for the magnificently random blog post about a random track by a random author. Hopefully my random sentence has warmed you up again for some canyonish action Rick1 - Avalanche by RickOstidich Okay mania-exchange, what is it with you? I though that now that I got a track long as an anaconda last time, I'd get a more "normal" one this time. But nah, here we have another 4 minute beastie I mean what is the average lenght of a canyon track? (seriously, I'm interested) Aren't most of them shorties? Well, well this track we have here could work as a story track very well. The thing is there is no Mt saving this creation It starts with a rather slow loop followed by a (guess what) loop (yep, you got it right). After it there are some curves and straights and that's quite about it, I'm off see ya'll.... Well eheh, I'm very funny today. But yeah, the track isn't the best. The author has had to include some symmetry in the track which isn't necessarily a bad thing but in this case it causes the track to start repeating itself. Also a couple of the straights in this track are long, and by that I mean, long. Also some of the curves are very, very unpleasantly tight not to mention very long distances between cp's which ruined my fun, especially on the first run. It's nice to drive 1:30 of the track and crash and realize, you're 30 sec back in time. In my opinion the track would be very fitting for showcasing and "sampling" the canyon tunnel parts, at places it looks epic as heck, even though the driving isn't that neat. For example the part you can see in the screenshot looks great when driving out of the tunnel The biggest plus in this track are the signs. They're clear enough to keep you on track, most of the time that is The track was RickOstidich's first track creation and I've already given him some constructive feedback to get him better equipped next time. Feel free to check the track out, beat his author time (which apparently is yet to be beaten, I didn't have the nerves for that ) and keep the site alive, the fire burning That's all for me today, I'm out P.S. I just watched the original, the first Men In Black before this, how is that?

@Arzgaa: "offensive"?! No problem my friend, nothing is offensive in races, we're pilots, not kiddies! @Spider: no, it's not an auto-gen at all! As far as I know! Does somebody else have the same problem?! Today I also published my track "Rick4-Enduro", which I did some days ago. Sounds like long-lasting fun!!

haha, RPG No i like your reaction and writing and i cant wait to hear some criticism on my maps, if you found any. ^^ actually i hope you found a awful map, hahaha its so fun to read, haha keep it up....you are a good writer almost like a reporter. at the mapper: i cant play this track, i tryed a couple of times and tm crash. ? I tryed everything. Edit: i remove the autogen script and it worked. ^^ Aha this is an autogen map. ? the script is broken.

@metoxys who knows, the next one might be yours =D @spider glad I entertained you But damn if I hit an Rpg track tomorrow @RickOstidich I'm glad you are allright with this as well =) I thought that you might perhaps, possibly maybe find this a bit "offensive" as I'm not being the nicest about your track And that first loop, it indeed is very "floating" and cool in that sense

Hahaha! Also for me it was funny and interesting in reading!! "Epic", is my second name! You guys check out my other creations, which are better that this one! And beat my uploaded ghost time, that is very poor - probably my 3rd or 4th trial. You Arzgaa did a very neat run on the corkscrews! And if some of you are (virtual or real) aerobatic airplane pilots, you'll love the first sloooow loop - just don't touch the street borders (sounds easy but it's not) and you'll get on the other side. Bye!!
