2nd update:
I changed the approach to the turn. You can still "jump" a little bit, but it isn't that much faster (at least not half of a second as it was before).
Using magnet-blocks would destroy the whole intentional turn just like the jump.
Wallbang is fixed too (altough i kinda liked it).
Some of my thoughts about the discussed topic:
In my honest opinion the original version of the map should be played.
Players should adapt to the map and not maps to the players.
The thing that makes trackmania interesting is that you need to find the fastest way possible.
The main problem with newer tournament maps is that you know the fastest lines after going through the map a few times because all lines are forced, which makes them kinda boring to play.
Many players said the jump wasn't random after training it for some minutes, although it was not intended (same for wallbang, which isn't random either).
Also, we're in the playoffs, maps should get "harder" for the better teams/players.
Some players will always complain, that's how it has always been and that won't change anyway.
But I also respect the Admins decision, it was my and the maptesters fault. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
Only good point is we have a one week break before the playoffs, so enough time to train the new version!
