yep, the lower block is definitely flat. So you have to find a different solution for that.
You might want to try out yoshi's embeddable extension pack for canyon, it has quite a fitting block for that case

And you're quite an experienced mapper, but for others it is for sure harder

How do we say to someone he didn't respect the theme ?
I tried Chrispy's map and i counted no less than 25 flat blocks directly on the path :3

But it would be very nice and fair to notice others about wrongly used blocks.

Yes I drove Chrispys map too and I have to say, that you took the wrong path then. All blocks I drove over were valid
